The Gallery Restaurant is a training restaurant based at Forth Valley College’s Stirling Campus. The food is prepared, cooked and served by the Hospitality students. All staff members were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived on Tuesday evening! Our table was next to the window and had lovely views of the River Forth and The Wallace Monument. When looking at the menu I noticed there was a good variety – even a veggie option for each course! I opted for the Ham Hough and Chicken Terrine to start, the Salmon served with Champit Tatties, Bacon and Creamed Cabbage followed by the Rhubarb Crumble Tart served with Crème Anglaise – all of which were lovely. Whilst waiting for our starter, we were offered a Fish Croquet Amuse Bouche – which was absolutely fantastic! Overall – great service, great food and excellent value for money at only £12.50 for 3 courses and £8.50 for 2 courses. I was really impressed and would definitely recommend that other students check it out.
